Baffin Bay

Baffin Bay is between Greenland on the east and the Arctic Archipelago of Canada on the west. On the south it connects with the Atlantic Ocean through Davis Strait and on the north with the Arctic Ocean by a chain of sounds. It is 1,127 km (700 mi) long and has a maximum width of 644 km (400 mi). Ice covers the bay much of the year.
